3rd Blogiversary!!! // Q & A?!

On this day, three years ago... I started this blog!!!!!!

It's just amazing. How did it get to be three years already?!? I was just doing a post for my 2nd blogiversary, wasn't I?

Getting to meet and talk with so many of you lovely people has been one of the biggest blessings of blogging. Thank you all SO MUCH for reading and following this here blog of mine! You all are awesome, you really are. :) I want you to know how much I love and appreciate each and every one of you guys! And more importantly, never forget how much God loves and appreciates you, too!! It's been such a fun journey so far, and I look forward to what God has in store for me and this blog in the next year!

Alright, well................

So, I have been trying to figure out something special to do for this here blogiversary. I mean, it's a special one; three is an important number! I wanted to post SOMETHING on my actual blogiversary day though, so... this is what I finally came up with.

I've thought and thought and thought about doing this, and so....... I just decided this very moment I'm typing this right now that.... why not just go for it??

*Cue epic drumroll*

I'm going to do a what bloggery people call... a Q & A!

In a special post I shall answer any questions you guys may have about me and/or my blog here! (Well, except for really personal questions like my full name or what street I live on or something equally creepy... :P). So, if you have any questions you would like to ask me, ask them in the comments below of THIS POST, and sometime (hopefully) this month I'll get to answering them! 

(And no, of course I didn't steal this Q&A idea from anywhere.... especially not from Olivia or anything......... Where would you get such a thought.......?? :P) Thanks so much, Olivia for inspiring me with this idea. ^_^

Soooooo.... I was checking back to make sure that the day I actually started my blog was indeed today, November 5th. Well, it turns out that last year I posted on November 5th, but somewhere on my blog thing it says I joined November 6th....... so. I'm honestly not exactly sure. Maybe I messed up last year with the date. Oh well. It's somewhere around November 5th, so we're just going to go with it. ;P

Headers and Kitties and Cuteness, Oh My!

Hello there! Here I am once again with my once-every-couple-months blog post! :P

You may have noted that the top of my blog looks a bit different. Well, with inspiration from a few other blogs' headers, I decided to make a picture collage header for my blog portraying a portion of some of the things I like (4/5 being movies :P) So... what do ya think?

One thing that I like to do a lot is to take pictures. So I've been taking quite a few pictures of all sorts of different things this past Spring and Summer -- especially kitties. ^_^ Why would that be? Well, let me tell you.

A while back this stray white cat decided to move underneath one of our storage buildings as well as have two litters of kittens there. So two of the kittens (one from each litter) we decided to tame and claim as our own, and OH MY GOODNESS THEY'RE THE MOST ADORABLE KITTIES... I JUST... I CAT EVEN RIGHT NOW, GUYS. I personally enjoy having them around. :) Growing up, we always had at least a couple of cats at our house, but for the past year or so we hadn't had any other animals except for chickens, so I think a lot of us were quite excited at the prospect of having kitties once again. ^_^
So with all that being said, I thought that I would share a few of these kitty pictures with you. Hope you enjoy! :)

The Beauty of Fall

Ahh... Fall time. :)

The time of year when we rake up leaves, go on hayrides, visit the local pumpkin patch, take scenic walks, and slurp up pumpkin spice lattes (well, some of us do anyway. I've actually never had a pumpkin spice latte in my life... Come to think of it, I've never had any kind of latte before... I'm not a coffee person.)

Well, last week, the weather was so nice and the scenery was just gorgeous where I live, so I took our camera outside with me and took bunches of pictures around our yard and of the fields that surround us. I thought I'd share a portion of them with you, since sharing all of them at the moment might take you an hour to scroll through (Okay, perhaps my exaggeration has gone a bit too far.). But anyways, here they are. I hope you enjoy. :)

Our neighbors plant winter rye this time of year in the fields around us, which gives them a cheery green look, even during bitter cold fall or winter days (unless the snow covers them).

 Our marigolds don't cease to bloom. :)

 

And, oh! The mountain views! I like it! :D

I hope you enjoyed these pictures! God's Creation truly is amazing. Of course, it's hard to capture the true beauty of the scenery with just a camera. I encourage you to take the time, even just a minute or two, to look out the window, sit on your porch, or take a drive to the park or through the countryside, and just enjoy and soak in the magnificent scenery the Creator has painted for us!
